Sunday fun day!

Back to brown colour hair!

What a lovely Sunday it is today! The weather is so cooling and gloomy. Seems like its gonna rain anytime soon. Tomorrow onward will be the start of April. I have 3 university assignments that are due for submission. Which include one solo presentation which I'm freaking out this coming Wednesday as I'm the second speaker. Wish me the best of luck! Other than that, I left with only 2 months of university. I cant wait to graduate if everything goes smoothly. Till then.. Ciao!

What's in my backpack? (University Edition)

Today I'm going to blog about the backpack that I carry to University. It's an Adidas Originals Retro Backpack in Black. I bought it from 'The Outnet'. I got it at a pretty good deal. So I bought one for my babe to couple up with him.

It is made up of 100% Polyurethane. Which is good because when it rains, my bag would be water resistant. The dimension of the bag is H: 17 inches by W: 11.5 inches. It has a laptop compartment which you can store your lappy. It is padded on the sleeve and the back so that it provides comfort when you carry tons of stuff in it.

Things in my backpack

  • Denizen Umbrella (Important as it is monsoon season in SG)
  • Kate Spade Wallet (Bought from Melbourne)
  • Coach key pouch (Bought for my Mum, but she finds it too small. So imma use it!)
  • UOS & SIM Student Card (For attendance)
  • Tissue paper (Homegirl always have runny nose)
  • Vicks Inhaler and Nivea chapstick
  • Marble pencil case (Storing my necessities)
  • Sony Earpiece in Lime green
∗  I don't usually bring my lappy to school unless I have to do research/project.

Adidas Backpack VS Adidas mini backpack

I would only use the bigger backpack when I'm travelling or going to University. If not, I would usually switch out to the mini backpack. I was on the hunt for it for ages. Thankfully my aunt's friend got it for me from UK. Ain't it adorable?

End of PRCP, no more being a student nurse!

P17

Your home girl right here is done with her internship! Cant wait to graduate and become an official staff nurse! I'm going on a graduation trip with Hyung and Yuting to Bangkok. Finally, I'm done with the booking of flight tickets and accommodation. Since I have 2 months of holidays, I need to plan well and do something productive each day. I might be moving back to Gramp's place to keep him company.

CNY gathering

Last Saturday, homies came to my place for CNY gathering. It's my first time playing as a host as I didn invite others to my place before. My family usually spent our CNY at Gramp's place.

Happy birthday to XH and Ericia!

In the evening, we headed over to NSRCC to celebrate Xinhui and Ericia 21st birthday! Just nice our secondary school friend Vanessa also held her birthday over there, so we went over to her chalet to pass her present! :D

Happy birthday Vanessa!

OT

Last day of becoming an OT nurse. So gonna miss wearing the comfortable scrub and crocs in the super cold operating theatre and observing how the surgeons do the operation. I definitely have a different perspective of our human body. During my posting, I got a chance to become a scrub nurse to assist the surgeon with a procedure. Definitely stressed a little, but the surgeon was damn nice. He cracked a joke with me to alleviate my anxiety. Alrighty, up next 2 weeks of community hospital posting!

ED/OT

Salut everyone! What a chilly night of 26 degrees in SG. For the previous week of my intern, I was allocated at the Emergency Department. It was busy and stressful, especially at the resuscitation room. But your home girl managed to help out during the resuscitation. I was really happy because a nurse remembered my name and called me to help out. At the moment, I felt like I gained recognition instead of being called "student" most of the time. I guess that's the perks of being a Year 3 student. You gotta know everything at your finger tips. And for this week, I'm allocated at the Operating Theatre. Finally, I got the opportunity to observe the surgeons performed a surgery! One tick down on my wishlist. Feeling so sleepy now but I gotta iron my uniform and do a little recap on my surgical instruments before I can head to bed. Goodnight yall!

Sick

OT nurse wannabe

Its 2.24am right now. Just finished bathing and massaging my aching thighs. So I kind of went for a CCA audition which is bboy. Damn, I suck at it. It was such an embarrassing moment. I stood in the middle of the dance studio when it was time for freestyle and watched others dance. I do hope that I will get in still. It's my dream to learn how to breakdance. But I always have a fear of going for dance class. I don't know why but it's kinda of weird isn it? Ever since Last Sunday, I've been having dry cough and flu. What's more, I'm gonna party later on. I need to get more rest. Lesson starts at 8am later on. Goodnight! :D

Ladies night last Wednesday

I wanna live freely. No more arguing, no more dealing with nonsensical people. I'm sick of everything. When will it stop?

SATA - chicken pox vaccination

Me, Rajes, Dahiyah

Since class was cancelled due to NSL, I headed to SATA to get my chicken pox vaccination in the morning with Rajes and Dahiyah. Before we go to school, I popped by Venus to get some daily necessities. A salesgirl was recommending me this Mizon berry cleansing oil from Korea. Oh my! I love it so much. It really removes my makeup well. It comes in 430ml bottle and it cost $19+. The usual price is $49.90.

Product Review
It contains black chokeberry which protects the skin against antioxidant. Natural vegetable oil which removes the dirt in pores to create smooth skin. It is a water soluble oil which suits my skin type because I have oily skin. Most importantly, it's free from alcohol/paraben/artificial colour/frangrace/benzophenone. Don't you think the cover of the product is so cute? When applying it, don't press too hard on the eyes. A small amount of oil get into my eyes and man, my vision became blurred for a moment. But not to worry, just rinse under running water if that happens!

Me, Rajes, Aishah

I'm so glad that NSL practical test is over. I totally blanked out once I stepped into the lab. But thankfully I still managed to pass. Hehe. I cant wait for my Cotton On order to arrive. Time to do some editing for my NR project. Ciao!
