Alone time

Sorry if I was not able to commit into a relationship. Because that's not what I want at the moment. It is never your fault to begin with. Just me being indecisive and impulsive as usual. I wanna be like a free bird to do whatever I want and chase my goals. I rather spend my time improving myself and to be a better person. One got to love themselves before they can love others. I've made up my mind and I'm going to stick to it. Too many things happened recently. I just need some time alone. On the other hand, I'm blessed with sweet colleagues and friends who are by my side motivating and encouraging me. That's all I need period. New year new me. Let's work hard towards our goals!

OCS social night 2015; X'mas eve celebration

Took a half day off from work to doll up for Ken's OCS social night event. Big shoutout to Cheryl and Crystal for being such sweet ladies to help me fix my hair around 4pm over at my place. I was extremely happy when Ken presented me with the flowers. Hehe. The whole event he really made me feel comfortable despite I was feeling hella awkward with the people at my table. This shows that I need to socialize more often to extend my social circle and be more open-minded during events. In conclusion, I did enjoyed myself as the night passes.

So we were working half day today, which after I met my Endo ladies for high tea buffet at Fullerton Bay Hotel. The food were scrumptious. I met Ken in the evening to watch horror movie and went to celebrate X'mas eve with my ladies at Attica which is hella impromptu.

Trip to my mum's hometown

2 weeks of my annual leave has ended. Its time to head back to work tomorrow despite I've already went back to work yesterday. For the first week of my annual leave, I went to Thailand to visit my grandmother. I've received such a warm welcome from my relatives. They tried to make me feel at home which I find it was sweet as I'm quite a fussy and whiny person. I have traveled to different province of Thailand such as Udon Thani and Nong Khai which is about an hour car ride from my mum's hometown Khon Kaen.

So we flew back to Bangkok on Wednesday morning and Edward joined us on Thursday morning. During that period, there was BKK fashion week at Siam paragon and I was randomly interviewed by someone. On Friday evening, I met up with Brook for dinner at Central plaza Ladprao. As we chat, I realised we had so much things in common. I thanked him for forking out some time to meet me after his work. Also, he was being such a sweet guy for calling me every night when I was in Bangkok. Then on Saturday, we headed to Ayutthaya to visit the temples and went on an elephant ride. During the road trip, I had bad motion sickness. I was feeling super terrible that I kept puking when I reached home. We flew back to SG on Sunday night. This whole trip is a total whole experience for me as most of the times I'm living in a kampong area.

Lesean 21st birthday!

Slept for only 2 hours last Friday as I was way too excited checking out flight tickets and hotel for my trip to Thailand with my parents! I have decided to spend my annual leave visiting my mum's family for a week. Just nice the week that I'm flying off, it would be the end of my probation. Omg, I can't wait to get confirm as an independent staff nurse! And yes, another good news would be that I will be working in the scope room in November! That's hella fast because I remembered my NM told me that I will be working in the scope room next year! I'm so damn nervous but it will be a good learning opportunity for me! :D

I was nearly late for work yesterday because I was dreaming that I'm assisting a procedure and that my consultant kept scolding me for being late. And indeed, reality hits me. I was in a mad rush preparing for work. Heck the makeup and wore slippers to work. Thankfully, I arrived for work just nice on time. /: Went home to take a 2 hours nap and woke up to prep myself for Lesean's 21st birthday.

Alvin's 24th birthday; Day trip to JB!

Happy 24th birthday my twinny!

Celebrated Alvin's 24th birthday at Shabu Sai at Clarke Quay last Wednesday! Then after I met up with Claire and we were walking all around town the whole night. Around 2.30am, we met up with Sahin at MBS and we went to Ce La Vi to party during the last hour of closing. I would rate the club 3/5 only for the scenery. The crowd seem to be 30+ years old and above with oldies song playing when I was a teen. The prices of the drinks are relatively reasonable. Sadly, that night the haze was so bad. Such a waste for not having an amazing night view. ): 

Last Sunday, I went on a day trip to JB with my colleagues. We had lunch together and went for a mini shopping session. Omg, I think I have a post withdrawal syndrome of our JB outing. /; This week, I'm gonna be placed at the counter. Feeling a little stressed as I felt like I'm very slow at work. ): Practice makes perfect. I know I can do this! :D

It was my day off last Saturday and I decided to meet up with Claire at HV. Just nice her nephews are staying over the weekends and I always hoped that one day I could meet them and that day was it! I cant believe the reaction that Seth gave me when he first saw me! He ran towards me and hugged me till both of us fell on the floor. We brought him to Hatched cafe for dinner and daily scoop for ice-cream. It's a pity that I didn't really hangout much with Toby. They are so adorable and I cant wait to see them the next time! After we brought him home, Claire and I went to Esplanade to chill. Yes to getting her hooked on Chicharon. Hahaha. Anyway, I'm feeling super relieved for completing my competency checklist for IVAM, cannulation and venipuncture just before my due date. Next up would be passing my probation. I also got to meet up with my nursing colleagues for dinner recently. I'm thankful that they were there for me to hear my rants. I really hate to be involved in work politics. ): 

I got hooked on watching this Thai lakorn drama.
