Blessing in disguise?

Despite I'm on my annual leave right now, I couldn sleep well for the past few nights. I had nightmares twice in a row since last Sunday night and this weird dream on Monday night that caused me to feel so uneasy the following day. Indeed, the bad news I've gotten the next day was my rejection letter from UOG. I was so upset because this was the only way to see my babe in a year time. But oh well, at least I was accepted by UOS. Perhaps, God have planned a better route for me? So I should take it as a blessing in disguise? I'm glad that my Dad was supportive in the decision I made. I'm also thankful for having amazing friends who spent time with me during this period that I'm feeling low. (:

Lesean 21st birthday!

Slept for only 2 hours last Friday as I was way too excited checking out flight tickets and hotel for my trip to Thailand with my parents! I have decided to spend my annual leave visiting my mum's family for a week. Just nice the week that I'm flying off, it would be the end of my probation. Omg, I can't wait to get confirm as an independent staff nurse! And yes, another good news would be that I will be working in the scope room in November! That's hella fast because I remembered my NM told me that I will be working in the scope room next year! I'm so damn nervous but it will be a good learning opportunity for me! :D

I was nearly late for work yesterday because I was dreaming that I'm assisting a procedure and that my consultant kept scolding me for being late. And indeed, reality hits me. I was in a mad rush preparing for work. Heck the makeup and wore slippers to work. Thankfully, I arrived for work just nice on time. /: Went home to take a 2 hours nap and woke up to prep myself for Lesean's 21st birthday.

Happy New Year 2014!

Happy New Year 2014! Before I start blogging, I wish everyone to start year 2014 with a good kick! Anyway, I met up with my best friends last evening at MK Thai restaurant (Somerset) for steamboat dinner! Yumsie! We had a gift exchange with each other for X'mas. This year my secret santa was Shannon. She got me a golden chunky necklace from H&M which totally suits me! We headed to MBS for countdown. The fireworks was beautiful. In fact, it's my first time counting down New Year Eve outside. After which, we headed back to Orchard Central and Bryan drove us home.

No school for me yesterday as it was BCR day. In other words, it's e-learning day for us. I gotta say it sucks as it is so confusing to navigate the portal site. Anyway, Yuting came to my house for dinner last night as her workplace was near to my house. Decided to head to Holland Village for a walk since I didn explore the place before. Kept getting lost when we wanna come back home. Felt so good this morning as I dont have to work and stay home to mug for my common test this coming week. Must do well for my paper so i can party guilt free.

My blog is so dead, aint it? Anyway, I'm making time to blog in my little space over here. Last two weeks after my attachment, i fell ill. I kept vomiting and having runs for days. So i decided to see the doctor and he diagnosed me of indigestion which i felt like it was freaking NOT?! My medical bills were like a whopping $72. That was crazy, i swear! Been in bed for days when I'm supposed to enjoy my last week of holidays before school term starts. Hyung was being such a sweet fellow to bring me out for shopping! We spent money on unnecessary items though. HAHAHA! Last friday, after Yuting & Bryan ended their work, we met up to have dinner together. Initially i suggested to check out Purvis St, however we decided to settle our dinner at Swee Choon instead because it was freaking late around 10pm plus. Then Bryan drove Yuting and I to Zouk. It wasnt that enjoyable without the usual clique though. /: Right now, I'm sick again. Having flu and itchy throat which is awful to the core. School officially starts today and imma hit my books now! Ciaos! :D

I have not been using my lappy ever since last Saturday. One good news is that i have moved back to PR, so i have been hanging out with my friends almost everyday. Anyway, my homies brought me to pungol park to prawn. It was my first time prawning and i really enjoyed it! Not only that, they brought me for shoe shopping which i did not expect that the wedges were a gift from them. Drinking session with my homies and we had a sleepover at rachel's house. Yesterday, i went to Bryan's house to bake macaroons, gym and swim. However, the macaroons seems like a failure though. Hahahah. I really need to spend my holidays wisely because in the upcoming weeks ahead i have attachment and work. Gonna be real busy. ):

Instead of singing karaoke last Friday night, my friends and i watched a Thai horror movie. It is called Pawnshop. The effect was scary. However, i have no idea what is the story plot about. So i went to Google the movie and it states that is a low budget film. After watching the movie, we went to downtown east 7/11 and had supper. Bryan and Emily sent me home first. Stayed over in PR for two nights. Just got back to BRH in late noon. Since its my vacation right now, i shall spend some time watching movies! Hehe. (:
