November hauls

Hello everybody, today I'm gonna share my favourite items/hauls for the month of  November ranging from fashion to beauty products. Let's start off with fashion items first..

Zara Leather Tote Bag - SGD159

So I've been using this bag for about 3 months and I'm loving it as the bag space is super spacious. It is made up of 100% bovine leather thus the price is quite steep. Material wise the outer layer of the bag is soft but the inner layer is made up of "furry suede", I guess? That's the only thing that I disliked about the bag. As time passed, some of the "furry suede" would rubbed onto the items in my bag. I was watching one video of "HelloOctoberxo" channel and she was pairing this bag with her OOTW thus I decided to head to MBS Zara Outlet to cop it.

High Waist Chino Trousers - SGD33.50

Copped this pair of checkered trousers during black Friday sales when I was out in town with my girls. Totally loving the material of it and it is super comfy. Best part of all, left 1 in stock which is my size.

The price I stated for the Factorie clothing was bought during their cyber monday sale. I'm in love with the Fila neon sweater. The original price is so bloody expensive so I'm happy I got it at an affordable price. Hehe. Both the shirts are sold out but I think you can buy them on Zalora website. The jumpsuit I bought was in black and yellow, but it was sold out on the Factorie website. So I linked the white and black colour instead. I bought 3 more other clothing but it doesnt fit despite is the correct sizing. I hope Factorie does something about it. The sizing is quite inconsistent for certain clothing. I wish Factorie has a free international shipping to SG with a minimum spending as I need to pay AUD20 for international shipping. /:  

Nike Air Force 1 Sage - HK799 = SGD140.29

Recently my aunt went to Hong Kong, thus I asked her to get this Nike Air Force 1 Sage in Off White colour. The soles are thick which adds few cm to your height. I got a size up as Eur 39 (my usual size) is a little too tight if I wear thicker socks. The Nike store in SG is retailing for SGD159. So I got it at a pretty good deal.

Aritaum Velvet Blush - SGD14.89 for 2 blushers

First time trying this Aritaum Velvet Blush. I bought it from Qoo10 as it was having a group buy sale. I got it in no.2 and no.4 colour. The colour of the blush is pigmented and it gives off a natural radiant look.

Clinique facial cleanser (oily skin) - SGD35

Love the texture of this facial cleanser. The after feeling of the wash is a little minty which makes your face feeling fresh and clean.

My dad brought home this Petal Fresh brand shampoo and shower gel. I'm in love with the tea tree scent and benefits. I'm not sure where you can purchase it in SG. But it is available in Malaysia guardian when I googled it. So those who are going to JB, can try looking for this product.

Alright, that's all for my hauls in November. X'mas is coming soon and I have been hunting for gifts for my family and my clique secret santa exchange. Yet to receive my grade for my last paper and assignment. Hopefully all is well. Since today is my off day, I was busy clearing and organising my clothes in my wardrobe. Ive set aside some clothes to bring back to PR. Way too many clothes at GP house. I cant wait for Aunt Cecilia to put up the X'mas tree at home. :D

Hello guys! Its been 2 months since I've updated my blog. I was busy working on 3 of my university assignments last month. I was feeling way too stressed that my hormonal levels was imbalance which caused me to have an overactive sebum glands. There were 2 happy things that happened to me recently. First, I gotten my result for the recent exam I took and I scored a credit! The second thing is to see my favourite DJ Dannic last September! I was so thankful that Ireena was able to accompany me to see his set. It was such a great night because I was hella crunk till I embarrassed myself. /: I swear that Dannic and his manager are super duper ultra friendly and they really know how to give fan service even to those on the dance-floor. As for now, I'm busy working to earn more money to see my honey next year. I have an upcoming exam on the 19 November. I better start mugging.

Alexander Wang Prisma Bag 

Hello everyone! I wasn't sure what I should blog about today thus I decided to share with you ladies my August hauls instead. Since August is my birthday month, I've decided to splurge a little and get myself a new Alexander Wang prisma bag. I'm in love with this bag because there are 4 compartments to place my everyday stuffs in it. It can fit a small umbrella or a waterbottle in the middle compartment which is a bonus. Also, this bag matches with my Alexander Wang wallet because it belongs to the same prisma collection. I love the croc embossed design on the flap as it makes the bag look more classy and edgy. I spotted this bag on a fashion blogger instagram named Lian Galliard. I was on the hunt for it for ages and I've managed to cop it on Yoox website. There are many prisma bag in different sizes, luckily I copped the bigger size instead of the regular size.

Delsey Luggage exclusive to Macys

My second happy purchase for the month of August is a new Delsey luggage exclusive from Macys. The colour of this luggage is Black cherry. There is a story behind getting this new luggage for myself. On the last day of my trip from Thailand, my cousin picked us up from the hotel to send my family to the airport. As there wasn't enough space in the boot, he tied our luggage on the top of his car. However, due to the hotel carpark ceiling was low, it hit the water pipes thus my luggage was badly dented at the bottom. I only noticed how badly dented my luggage was during the check in of our flight, but I thought I could fix it with heat when I come back to SG. When I looked at the front view of my luggage, there was a big crack on the surface and small holes on some part of the luggage. I was worried that my items in the luggage would come off considering how bad the condition of my luggage was. I was so furious and upset on the trip back because it was my fave 29 inch marble luggage from Typo. I was browsing through Macys and I decided to get a 29 inch Delsey luggage because my dad owned one of the luggage for ages and I've read good reviews about it. I cant wait to use it on my next overseas trip!

Since it was my birthday month, I've also splurged at Sephora. I decided to try out their Clinique moisturizer and toner because Tivya was raving about how good it was. I love how it makes my skin feels. Not only that, I gotten a free cosmetic pouch, 100mls Clinique cleanser and few samples of bubble mask and moisturizer. I've also stock up on sephora makeup remover, IT cosmetic mascara, sephora eyeliner and a tarte eyelash curler. That very day I spent about SGD190+ but I gotten so many free samples too. I told my babe about it and he was like dang, I didn know girls would spend so much on makeup and skincare. Hahaha. Time to save money as I spent so much during August. :p

Happy 24th birthday to myself!

The past 2 months were hectic for me. Due to my supplementary papers, it pushed back my holiday plans with my family in July. I was worried for my research essay results and supplementary papers. Thankfully God answered my prayers. Everything went well and I don't need to repeat any of the module. Phew.

Today felt like a normal day. No lighted birthday cake, except scolding from someone. It doesn't matter as long as I received love from those who appreciate me. Many at times, my heart was broken because of someone. I did not know who to confide in, except my boo which makes me rather upset because I always felt so apologetic to him. Hopefully, things get better in time. );

Viral infection for 1 week

Last week I was down with a viral infection that my fever would not subside. Seen different GP way too many times that I decided to head to SGH A&E to seek for treatment. I felt that it was the worst time of my life. I was sleeping the whole week away that I had to skip my exams this week as I did not prepare for it. Because of this illness, I got to take my exams in July and my holiday plans are ruined. Thankfully I did not book my flight ticket to Thailand as it clashes with my exam dates. I felt terribly sorry to my babe because he took the time to come to SG to visit me but there are some other things that I need to settle. ): Also, aunt Cecilia would be coming back home tonight. My duty of taking care of grandpa for 3 weeks is finally completed. Yayy!

Best friend? More like bad friend!

I have a colleague of mine that I treated her as my best friend. There was once we went to JB together and we bought a pair of spectacles. I used my credit card to pay for our spectacles first since we did not bring enough cash at the point of time. Fast forward 2 months later, I kept chasing her for my money but she would come up with shit tons of excuses. Such as she forgotten to transfer me the money and to remind her tmr to make the payment or like she would change the topic to something else when I text her. Not long ago, I posted on my ig story about her and she immediately replied me saying that why am I so childish to rant on ig story? She said that I shamed our friendship online and she was disappointed with me. Blah blah.. I deleted upon her request and she told me to keep hush about it. But like gurl, without that post, you would not even return me back my money. Then after she said she was facing some financial issue and that she need to salvage the house, so she asked me to delay the payment. The thing is that, if you have financial issue, you could just tell me instead of keeping it to yourself so I wont keep chasing after you for the payment. But all I see on her ig story, is that she went to Phuket for a vacation and spent the rest of her days chilling at the condo. I did not see her at work for so long. So how do you want me to believe that you are really cash strapped? Thank goodness after chasing her for payment for 2 months, she finally made the transaction. So much for saying that her bf gave her a 10k ring last time. But you could not even return me $100+ that you owe me. Best part of all, I got to find out that you have been speaking bad about me to others. Why would you want to do that? Disclaimer girl, everything that I had is bought with my own money. I worked hard for it and I don't depend on my dad for allowance. There are days that I do 2 jobs just to earn extra bucks for myself. So don't be a shit ass person telling other people that I'm rich so that you don't need to pay me back my money. Grr..

Alexander Wang Prisma large tote review

Not long ago, I traded my 3.1 Phillip Lim pashli bag for an Alexander Wang Prisma large tote on Reebonz. The reason why I traded my pashli bag for a large tote was because I rarely carry the pashli bag to work/university. Not only that, the colour of the pashli bag is in bright orange. I find that it is difficult to match with my clothes. Whereas this A.wang tote bag looks stylish and edgy, it will be easier to match with my everyday outfit. 

The bag itself is heavy due to the 4 silver tone hardware at each corner of the bag. As you can tell in the second picture, I can placed my A4 size documents in my bag when I placed it horizontally. In the middle of the bag, there is a zip compartment which I can store my valuables in it. The material of the bag is bovine leather which makes the exterior of the bag feels extremely soft. The inner lining of the bag is made of fabric which I don't fancy in case it gets wet. 

The straps of the bag seem so thin. I hope it does not spoil so easily as I carry tons of stuffs in my bag daily.  /: Also, this bag matches with my wallet as it is the same Prisma collection.

April favourites

The month of April passed so fast and now its the beginning of May. I'm gonna share with you my April favourites. Last month I had a major pimple breakouts on my face because I was stressed a f with work and university assignments. I didn had sufficient amount of beauty sleep. So I popped by Sephora and asked the sales associate what kinda of facial mask should I get?

Mario Badescu - Cucumber tonic mask
Mario Badescu - Silver Powder
Origins - Matte moisturizer with willowherb

I was looking for a suitable face moisturizer as I have an oily and dry skin combination. Oily on the T-zone and dry patches on the side of my face depending on how humid the weather is in SG. I didn know there is such thing as a matte moisturizer for our face?! After using it for a month, I'm in love with it. My face stayed matte for at least 6-8 hrs with no makeup on. The origins moisturizer cost SGD 63. Its kinda of pricey but it works wonder for me. Mario Badescu products are well known for eradicating acne skin issues. The silver powder helps to unclog pores and minimise blackheads. I used it last night and I felt like my face went for a good detox. The silver powder cost SGD 27 which I think is quite reasonable. For the cucumber tonic mask, it helps to moisturise and brighten my dull skin. It cost SGD 30. After using all these products for a month, my face condition is so much better that I dont really use foundation when I go out. Sephora is having sales online and in-store now. So do check it out! 

Ryo scalp deep cleansing shampoo and conditioner

I dyed my hair too many times that my hair texture is dry and frizzy. I chanced upon this korean brand shampoo on Qoo10 and I decided to try it. When you apply the shampoo on your hair, there is a cooling menthol effect. After using it for a month plus, my hair look so much healthier.

No sebum powder

I've stopped using my Too-faced (Born this way) foundation for my daily makeup. Instead, I used this herb green no sebum powder. It makes my face stay matte for at least 5 hrs. The texture is light and it makes my skin feels fresh.

Busy

Gonna be busy with uni classes for 5 weeks straight. Pray hard that I can balance work and school life at the same time. The thought of doing my research proposal makes me wanna puke. Can July come fast? I'm thankful for the effort my boyfriend puts in to video call me despite the difference in timezone while he is busy with his masters' thesis. I can't wait to see him soon. Hey yall! How is the Chinese New Year celebration coming along? I hope you guys had a wonderful time with your family! Today, I'm gonna share with you another bag that I have wanted for ages and that's a Celine nano luggage. I got it as an early birthday gift for myself. I can't help it when the bag I wanted it's on sale. :p

Bullhide calfskin leather

This bag is pretty lightweight as compared to my Alexander Wang mini rockie. The size of this nano is 8"(H) x 8"(W) x 4"(D). The reason why I chose bullhide calfskin leather because it requires low maintenance. It is extremely durable and it won't scratch so easily. The flap on the side of the bag is made of suede and it's in Magenta colour.

Things in my bag.

This bag can store my long Alexander Wang wallet and big marble pouch. However, the cons of this bag are that the strap is not adjustable and the small pocket in the front is a little redundant because you barely can store anything in it. 

My height is 163cm and the bag is hanging just nice below my waist. The price of the bag is pretty steep and I would not buy it if it did not go on sale. But nevertheless, I'm in love with it. :D

New Year 2018

Hello yall! How time flies and its year 2018 now! Its been long since I've blogged and we left with 3 more days to the end of January. I was spending my new year holidays with my mum's family in Thailand. Damn man, it was freaking cold in Khon Kaen as the temperature was 16 degrees. I stayed in BKK for 3 nights and it was freaking warm as I brought only my thicker clothes. What a change in the weather forecast. LOL.

I didn't really shop much this time round in Thailand. Except that I splurged my money at Zara and Alexander Wang shop. Yayy to copping the wallet as it was the last piece. I had a great time catching up with my maternal family. A good news for me is that I'm no longer a brace face. Wearing braces is such a torture. The maintenance is also a chore. Oh well, as the saying goes no pain no gain. I can't wait for university classes to commence again. I miss my university friends. My baby birthday is next month and I bought him a Prada wallet. Surprise surprise! Hehehe. ;p
