So my endoscopy girls asked me to join the standard chartered marathon race on the 1st of December. Thankfully, its only 5KM. If it is the 10KM, I would have died as I did not trained much for it. Had only few hrs of sleep the night before, it was a terrible mistake of mine. But I've managed to pull through for this race! I'm so proud of ourselves. Dumb me forget to stretch my legs and I experienced bad ache for 3 days on my groin area. I still went window shopping at IMM with Jaryl after my race and I regret like hell.. But its all good now.
So happy that Ilia came back on time to celebrate Christmas with me. Barely spend time with him because he is always travelling. It was raining cats and dogs on X'mas eve. What a bad weather to start our date. We were drenched despite we had an umbrella. We tried ice-skating and I was so bad at it. Had dimsum for dinner at Cuppage plaza and off he flew to Myanmar 4 days later. ):

Went to work on NYE. Met up with Tina for lunch and we were busy discussing our plans for our Endo NY party. I was freaking stressed because I sucks at organizing a party. Bought some game gifts and did some mini shopping for ourselves. We had high tea session at Paul's bakery at Wisma Atria Taka when it's time for dinner. Hahaha. Reached home around 10.30pm and I fell asleep throughout the New Year. I missed the countdown and my friend was waiting for me at Attica to start the party rolling. Terribs me. /:

I'm happy that Endo new year party went great as planned yesterday. This whole week Tina and I were stressed a f searching for the suitable door gifts for our colleagues and planning the itinerary for the party. Clumsy me reached the function hall and realised that I forgotten to bring my gift for the secret santa gift exchange as I was carrying the Ikea bag filled with gifts. Gotta take a bus back home to get my gift and uber back because my gift is for our head nurse manager! Tina and I came up with a last minute "Best Dressed Award" and the Sisters have to nominate two persons to compete in a catwalk and a dance battle. Guess what? The Sisters chose me and Sairey. Like hell no, I'm the freaking organiser and I know what's the gift inside the bag. Terribs. Hahah. In the end, we crowned Sairey as our Best Dressed for our Endo NY party 2017. I'm glad that our hard work paid off and everyone enjoyed the party! :D
Hey yall! Just got back from my trip to Bali with ma ladies. We planned our itinerary only on the day itself when we reached Bali. My girls are trying to turn me into an adventurous person. We went really hardcore from Day 1, even my host said so. For Day 1, we rode the ATV and for those who followed me on snapchat would see my stupid bloopers. Because I sucks at riding the ATV till I caused Yen Ling and I to fell into the drain. Then we proceed to try out their famous "Luwak" coffee. By 11pm, we reached our Villa and we started unpacking our stuffs. Slept for only an hour and we started our Day 2 with trekking at 4am at Mount Batur. Your homegirl was being a gungho for not bringing jacket. It was hella chilly as we trekked up the mountain. After trekking for 2 hours, we reached the top and managed to catch the sunrise. It was such a heavenly sight. As we descended down the mountain, my shoe caught in between the rocks and I had an abrasion on my ankle. All of us became wounded nurses by the time we have reached the base. We didn have a proper breakfast yet we went for water rafting next. Omg, I'm in love with it! It was kinda of exciting and Adeline was so unlucky that she fell off the boat. It was caught on Aishah's gopro though. What a tiring Day 2. When we went back to our Villa, my body was aching so badly. Day 3 was much better. We catched up on our sleep and went for spa treatment to soothe our aching bod. Had dinner by the beach as we catch the sunset. Around 11pm, the guide secretly brought Adeline and I out for party. We went to Skygarden. I would rate it 3/5. It was meh but I enjoyed my night having HTHT with Adeline. Day 4 was the last day of our trip. The guide brought us to two different beach (Pantai Pandawa & Finn's beach club) to snap pics. Other than that, we did our last minute shopping before we depart back to SG. This trip teaches me how to step out of my comfort zone and try something different. Back to work this week and I'm doing freaking 10-7pm+. ): Time for me to head to bed. Goodnight guys! :D
Hey all! So I'm back from my recent KL trip with my colleagues. It was a short leisure trip planned back in late December. We left after work on Friday. There was a heavy traffic jam at the immigration checkpoint. We prepared everything except food. So can you imagine how hungry we were? All we done during that time was to party at Zouk on Saturday night and spent the whole day playing at Sunway Lagoon on Sunday. We did not shop at all because there wasn't enough time to do so. We took a flight back to SG on Monday. Before the trip, I was not feeling well. I was down with a cold and cough. During the trip, I also had bad motion sickness. Thankfully I was travelling with 7 nurses. So I was well taken care of during the trip. Hahaha. One more week of work and hell yeah to my next AL! :D

Last Saturday, Lesean invited me to his place for a LouHei session. His mum's cooking is superb! Met up with Claire in town for a midnight movie. We watched "Deadpool" and went for dimsum supper at Cuppage plaza. Surprisingly, Lesean and Claire happen to be neighbours. They are just living next blk to each other.

If wasnt for that night, I would not have met Jo. Everything sounds pretty crazy right now. Having someone who works in the medical industry as you, should you count that as a blessing in disguise? /: Not to mention that I saw him today in the scope room. My goodness, I was having palpitations and my colleague said that I was blushing so badly. Argh. I really need to maintain my posture.
Felt like I have neglected my blog for a little while aint it? Anyway, I have started work at CGH since this Monday. Basically we have to go through an orientation for a month. I'm so excited yet nervous because 2 months ago I was wearing a student nurse uniform and right now, I'm SN Jasmine donning on CGH uniform. Also, among the sea of nurses, I'm the only one posted to endoscopy dept. It's gonna be a little different from the ward. But I'm sure there must be a reason why the AD allocated me to the dept to work! So like the seniors always said: "Come to work with a positive mindset and be pro-active." Being in a grown up world is so weird. I felt this sudden responsibility in me towards work, family and what not. Recently, I'm having a bad PMS and I felt bad to Max because it seems that I'm always harsh to him. ): I guess he seen different sides of me already. And I really really do appreciate him for still being sweet to me and sending me selfies at unexpected moment to update me what is happening in his life. Seeing his text makes my heart tingles. He just makes me adore him even more each day. :D
