Yay to scoring another good deal on Ebay. I was so unexpected to win the bid at the very last second. Can you guess what I bought this time round? It's a Louis Vuitton Montsouris backpack in GM. 

I know you guys must be thinking why did I buy another montsouris in GM when I had the MM size? That's because I've sold it as I didn't utilise the bag that much. I was just trying my luck for the montsouris GM and I didn't expect to win the bid so I'm really ecstatic!

If you ask me to choose between the MM and GM size, I would definitely choose the GM size as I can store much more stuffs in it. It can fit a 13 inch MacBook Pro and an A4 size paper. The web straps are definitely much more comfortable than the leather straps. Although the exterior condition of the GM bag isn't as good as compared to the MM bag, I can send it to the leather shop to have the whole vachetta leather replace. Thankfully the interior condition of the bag is great. No odour smell and no stain seen. For the price I paid, I really can't complain much.

April favourites 2021

Hey everyone! Its been ages since I last blogged as I'm busy with work and heavily pregnant. I'm due in 5 weeks time!! How time flies and we can all see baby J! 

Today, I'm going to share with you guys my April favourites. Recently, my husband and I bought a MacBook Pro to co-share. We are loving it so much despite both of us are clueless at using it initially. I love how sleek and lightweight the lappy is! Goodbye to my old Fujitsu laptop that had been through thick and thin with me since poly to uni period. 

First of all, the bag of the month that I would like to share with you guys is the Supreme logo zip tote bag in leopard design. I was browsing through Farfetch and I instantly fell in love with it. However, the leopard design was not available online. I managed to cop it at a really good deal on carousell. Whats more, the seller only used the bag once. So it looks pretty much brand new. I've watched online reviews on Youtube on how to authenticate the bag before purchasing it.

The bag is very spacious and lightweight. It comes with one inner and one outer pocket. It's available in 4 colours: Black, Red, Green and Leopard. However, the leopard design is rare to cop. So I'm happy when I can get my hands on it! Not only this bag is used for work, but it looks rather hype for a diaper bag too right? 

Second item that I want to share is my new YSL cushion foundation. I've ran out of my Lancome marble cushion foundation and I can't get my hands on the refill pact only to realise that they stopped the production of it. So I decided to try out the YSL cushion foundation to check out what's the hype of it. I purchased it at BHG Bugis. It retails for $102 and the refill pact cost $62. Gotten a $10 discount as there was a minimum spending of $100. Not only that, you will become a YSL member instantly and I received 2 free gifts. One is a YSL mirror, another one is a small pouch to store my cushion foundation. I'm using shade 25. It smells good and my face does not feel oily after long hours of wearing it.

Last but not least, the last item I want to share its a pair of light pink Skechers shoes. I have very bad water retention. I'm swell up from my arms, hands, legs and feet. As a nurse, I stand up all day working so by the end of the day, my feet will be so swollen and its so uncomfortable to wear covered shoes. Jaryl suggested that I should check out Skechers shoes, but I always have this thinking that only aunties wear it.. The store was about to close as it was late but I guess the salesperson saw that I was heavily pregnant and I sincerely want to buy the shoes as I'm super desperate. We were also lucky as the store was having a last day promo of buy one, get one free so Jaryl and I gotten a pair of shoes each. I'm loving how comfortable and stretchy the shoes is. I've forgotten which series is this shoes, but this is how it looks like..

Louis Vuitton Pochette Accessoires

I was super lucky to win the auction on Ebay for this LV pochette accessoires. I spent about SGD690 including taxes and shipping. Even though it was a preloved bag, the bag is still clean and pretty much unused. 

The bag is authentic as I gotten it from a secondhand shop from Japan on Ebay. It came with the original dustbag and short strap. But I always carry the bag as a crossbody using the long strap.

Hi everyone! I've added a louis vuitton piece to my bag collection. This is a vintage montsouris MM backpack. I managed to cop it at a reasonable price from a carousell seller. As this piece is a vintage bag, you can only purchase it from the preloved websites which I will list it down later. I've been bidding on Ebay from these Japanese sellers, but the bid always ended up being really high like USD700+ not inclusive of shipping. You might wonder if your LV bag is authentic if you were to purchase from Ebay? Fret not, most of the Ebay Japanese sellers do own a preloved luxury store in Japan. It's also a crime if they were to sell imitation goods. Most importantly, dont forget to check out the seller ratings and reviews before buying from them!

The monogram print on the back is much more brighter as compared to the front based on the first picture. I guess its due to the sun exposure and the age of this bag? The patina leather is quite even. It has a clean interior and not so visible water marks on the bottom of the bag. Thus, this is a good buy! :D 

There are 3 different sizes of this bag. It comes in PM, MM and GM. It's easy to differentiate between these 3 bags. PM size would come with additional leather handle at the back. MM size would have the golden ring handle. The straps of the GM size would be fabric whereas the MM and PM size are vachetta straps.  

This bag is made in france on February, 2000. The last production of this bag is 2007.

It can store my long wallet and umbrella. It's quite spacious too!

Many users said that they cant store anything in the front pocket as it is too small. But I managed to fit a small packet of wet tissue, hand sanitiser and a lipstick.

Givenchy Antigona (small, calfskin leather)

I managed to cop this bag from Farfetch. I have been eyeing this bag for ages! The small antigona cost SGD2990 at Marina Bay Sands Shoppes. The MBS sales assistant told me that the designer for Givenchy has changed so the iconic antigona model would no longer be available once they clear the stocks. 

Note: Do try it in store if you are not sure if you want to purchase the small or medium size. 

This bag was shipped from a boutique in Portugal. The boutique is called Fashionclinic which sell many luxurious brands. Guess what? I copped it at a 40% discount! I paid SGD1814 including shipping. My boyfriend knew how much I love it because he always complained that I walked into Givenchy Store just to try on the bag without purchasing it. Finally this baby is in my hands! 

The reason why I opted for the calfskin leather because I love how glossy it looks. Though it is scratch proof, it wont lose it's shape as the time pass. Personally, I feel that this bag match with different styles. For example, edgy/cool/classy/basic. Whereas the goatskin leather look more of a casual everyday style. The pro of the goatskin leather is that it's scratch resistant. So for those who don't want to baby their bag, opt for the goatskin! For discount wise, calfskin leather rarely go on sale. So I thought this is a good opportunity to cop the bag!

This bag was gifted from my boyfriend for valentine's day. I've been using this bag for work as it is spacious and sturdy. As you can see from the above picture, I do bring tons of stuff which cause my bag to be heavy. Oh well, these are my essentials for work..

The Ella tote has been around for years and Tory Burch produced different patterns and materials of the bag. The most iconic piece would be the nylon material. It comes in 2 sizes, mini and large. I opted for the canvas bag as it looks unique and I have yet to see anyone carry it in SG. The leather handles of the bag sits well on my shoulder without falling off. The size of my bag is H:32cm, W: 44cm, D: 11cm. It has 3 big pockets, one on the outside and two on the inside. It definitely fits A4 size document. I would skip the details of what I carry inside my bag as it is always the same old things.

Hello all, today I'm sharing with you what's in my Prada bag and how I turned this Prada cosmetic bag into a bucket bag. I was watching Youtube and chanced upon this korean video whereby a lady did a reform of this Prada cosmetic bag. I fell in love with it and I decided to make one on my own. So I purchased the cosmetic bag from one of the seller from Reebonz Closet. Jaryl found the round carabiner for me on Carousell. I bought the strap from Shopee. You can make do with or without a bag organizer. But I bought it as I want the bag to maintain it's shape. It's really difficult to find a bag organizer for this Prada bag model. But I managed to find one from a Korean Etsy seller. Viola ~ Now you can make your own Prada bucket bag! Links will be provided at the bottom.

5KM Standard Chartered Marathon 2019

So my endoscopy girls asked me to join the standard chartered marathon race on the 1st of December. Thankfully, its only 5KM. If it is the 10KM, I would have died as I did not trained much for it. Had only few hrs of sleep the night before, it was a terrible mistake of mine. But I've managed to pull through for this race! I'm so proud of ourselves. Dumb me forget to stretch my legs and I experienced bad ache for 3 days on my groin area. I still went window shopping at IMM with Jaryl after my race and I regret like hell.. But its all good now.

August was my birthday month and I made so many purchases. I've been eyeing for the LV pochette for quite some time. I've went to the LV store at Takashimaya and Ion with Claire but the LV sales associates said that they have stop bringing in this model. I was so disappointed but I found it off carousell and I immediately copped it at a good deal. As this bag is a vintage piece, the bag strap is attached to the zipper instead of the D-ring at the side of the bag. But nevertheless, I still love this piece. I have gotten a simple black bag from H&M for everyday use.

Few weeks back, Sephora was having a 20% sales for black and gold card members. I was roaming around Ion at that point of time and decided to get a new face moisturizer for myself but ended up getting much more than I needed. I love the Tatcha face moisturizer. Its watery but not oily on my skin. For the price point, it's bloody expensive. The olaplex bond smoother coupled it up with the cutesy hello kitty tangle teezer makes my hair soft and tame. I gotten myself a new face powder from Tarte because the milani matte face powder makes my face oily. I'm not sure if its because of the base products I used on my face or the Milani face powder is not suitable for my skin?

Happy 25th birthday to myself!

Happy 25th birthday to myself! Wishing myself to be healthy and happy all year round! How time flies and I realised that my last blog post was in May. There were so many things that happened to me during these span of three months. I did went through a heartbreaking season. It was difficult for me to accept it considering the fact that I was supposed to meet my other half's family and I was with my ex for two years plus. Those who know me knew that I had commitment issues. I'm that kind of person who falls deeply in love and falls out of love easily too. However, I met this new guy recently and he have been treating me really nice. Its too early to say anything but I do wish that this love would blossom. Next month is gonna be a great month because Jasmine is gonna graduate from her nursing degree! Not only that, I've gotten a full time job and I'm really excited and nervous for it. My boss wife told me that the first three months is gonna be hell for me. But I should learn to step out of my comfort zone and embrace whatever that is gonna present to me in the future.

Today, I'm gonna blog about my April favourites ranging from my new Prada tote bag to beauty products that I'm in love with. First of all, I bought my Prada tote bag from Reebonz. Its a pre-loved bag but its in pristine condition. I had about 250 credits in my account and it would expire in July if I'm not gonna utilise it. Reebonz is having a mother's day sale thus the bag was reduced by 20%. So I gotten the bag at a reasonable price. The only flaw the bag have is that it has a pen mark on the inner compartment of the pocket. Otherwise, I cant tell that the previous owner really use the bag, considering its a 2015 model. Hyung also said that the bag reminds him of Christian Louboutin because the inner compartment of the bag is red while the outer layer is black. Onto my beauty products, I've tried out the body shop seaweed toner. The scent of it smells like fresh water which I really like. It suits people with oily skin type. I swatched the wet&wild lipstick on my hand before buying it, but it doesnt look good on my lips sadly. Also, it get rubbed off easily when I take a drink. Among the essence products I bought, I love the clear brow gel and mascara. The mascara was highly recommended by Tivya so I decided to try it out. It cost less than $10 and it works well as compared to Too-faced mascara. Catrice nail polish are affordable and long lasting too. Tried and tested when I'm using my paw patrol sanitizer at work everyday. My colleague Juliana introduced me this Tarte H2O moisturizer. I love the texture of it. It's a gel based moisturizer which does not make my face oily. It is quite pricey, but I bought it during sephora sale. As compared to my clinique moisturizer, I prefer tarte over it. Thankfully it is public holiday today, I could run my errands and pack my clothes in the wardrobe. Ciao! 

I have been putting Gen Neo's music on replay while I'm doing my law assignment. His music is so good but he is so underrated. Just found out that he is a singaporean and he used to study in Berklee college of music. That explains why I liked his music genre.

Finally the weekend is here! I can get to chill awhile before I start on my next assignment which is law. I'm so glad that 2 out of 3 assignments are done for this month. Also, I totally nailed my solo presentation. I did not expect to get a distinction. Woots ~ Met up with Jo last evening before he heads off to UK next month to work. Felt so sad as if I lose an older brother. ): But all in all, one have to keep striving for the best and the good memories are well remembered. (:

What a lovely Sunday it is today! The weather is so cooling and gloomy. Seems like its gonna rain anytime soon. Tomorrow onward will be the start of April. I have 3 university assignments that are due for submission. Which include one solo presentation which I'm freaking out this coming Wednesday as I'm the second speaker. Wish me the best of luck! It's the final lap of my university life. I can't wait to graduate. I left with 4 more months of school. I was busy the whole day trying to reorganize my wardrobe and lecture notes. I really need a planner to remind myself about all the assignments that are due for submission mainly in April. Argh. Got my nails painted to cover up the stained hair dye from each hair wash. I've thought of touching up my hair again as the green colour on the crown of my head is fading off. /: In the meantime, I shall read up on my law notes. Till then.. Ciao.
